Job Description
THE ICONIC is seeking a Data Engineer to join their team in Sydney CBD. The ideal candidate will have experience working with data at scale and a passion for innovation and quality. As a Data Engineer at THE ICONIC, the candidate will have hands-on experience in all facets of the data that they collect. They will work alongside skilled and collaborative team members as they transform their data infrastructure.
Role Involves:
- Developing and supporting enterprise data warehouses, analytical databases, and infrastructure.
- Re-platforming existing data architecture to next-generation tooling and architecture.
- Designing and maintaining robust data pipelines using Python and SQL.
- Working closely with Data Scientists and Data Analysts to implement new insights and statistical models.
- Assisting in developing tools/processes to enable the business to self-serve.
Requirements:
- Experience in a Data Engineer role or similar.
- Strong Python and SQL coding skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong data warehousing/Data Engineering experience.
- Experience with data modeling and complex ETL solutions.
