Job Description
OKX is seeking a Senior Finance & Accounting Specialist to join their Finance team in Brazil. This role will report to the Senior Finance Manager and will be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, local compliance, and global reporting. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic and high-growth environment.
What this role involves:
- Preparing the monthly closing process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Ensuring timely completion of monthly close and reporting activities.
- Leading communication with outsourcing accounting firms.
- Supporting accounting, tax, internal controls, cost management, accounts payable, and reporting.
- Preparing financial statements for internal use, external audits, and regulatory bodies.
- Executing AP and ensuring all operating expenses are accurately recorded.
- Managing the issuance of electronic invoices.
- Supporting the implementation and maintenance of strong internal controls.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Collaborating with international and multicultural teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 6+ years of relevant experience in accounting roles.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and experience with corporate income tax (IRPJ/CSLL).
- Demonstrated experience with intercompany reconciliations and exposure to transfer pricing concepts.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ownership mentality.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines and under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (mandatory).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
