Job Description
Notion is seeking a Manager, Commercial Sales to lead and scale their AMER sales team. This role is based in New York, New York and requires in-person presence for three Anchor Days (Monday, Tuesday & Thursdays). The Manager will develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth across new and existing customers in the Commercial segment. They will recruit, develop, and lead a team of Account Executives, providing coaching and setting clear expectations. This role involves partnering with regional leaders across Sales Strategy, Marketing, and Sales Development to plan territory mapping and pipeline development programs.

What this role involves:
  • Creating a strategy to grow revenue across new and existing customers.
  • Recruiting, developing, and leading a team of Account Executives.
  • Partnering with regional leaders to plan territory mapping and pipeline development programs.
  • Collaborating with Customer Success and Solutions Engineering teams to onboard new customers.
  • Working with Marketing teams to drive insight into Ideal Customer Profile.

Requirements:
  • 2+ years experience as a direct sales leader/manager.
  • Strong track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Skilled in managing and coaching through the full sales cycle.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on empowerment and collaboration.
  • Comfortable with the ambiguity and pace of an early-stage startup.
  • Growth mindset and thrive in the building stage of a nascent team.
  • High EQ and exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset and enjoy problem-solving.
  • Strong empathy for customers and passion for revenue and growth.
  • Good understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models.
