Job Description
General Assembly is seeking a Partnerships Specialist to cultivate hiring opportunities for graduates and provide candidate recommendations to employer partners. This role involves seeking out employer partnerships that deliver value for both GA and the partner, understanding workforce development needs, and aligning those needs with GA’s talent and training solutions. The Partnership Specialist will represent GA in the community.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and manage hiring partner relationships.
- Build target lists of companies.
- Maintain relationships with existing hiring partners.
- Understand partners’ workforce needs.
- Identify key virtual events and attend on behalf of GA.
- Create and host valuable, related content.
- Analyze Partnerships/Outcomes data.
- Maintain key reports and dashboards.
- Partner with Global Outcomes team to help define best practices and metrics for success.
- Contribute to aggressive growth goals of GA’s Outcomes partner network.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years in strategic partnerships, business development, recruiting, or marketing.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to negotiate to terms that make sense for both GA and our partners.
- Passion for our mission to empower people to pursue the work they love through practical skills-based education.
- Ability to get things done in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment to drive results.
