Instructor Manager

General Assembly is seeking an Instructor Manager to support its learning experiences in Singapore. The Instructor Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and passion of the instructional teams, which are composed of top industry professionals. This role is based in Singapore and requires the Instructor Manager to reside there and have the necessary work authorization.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a strong and diverse pipeline of instructional talent.
• Manage the instructional candidate journey.
• Collaborate with various teams to plan and staff instructional teams.
• Facilitate onboarding for new instructors.
• Support instructors' transition to the classroom.
• Invest in coaching relationships with instructors.
• Monitor and manage course quality and progress.
• Identify opportunities to engage the instructor community.
• Facilitate partnerships with local organizations.

Requirements:

• Experience managing multiple team members.
• Experience leading recruiting and hiring processes.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, or training team members.
• Experience as an instructor or trainer for adult learners in Singapore.
• Experience evaluating instructional material and providing coaching feedback.
• Currently reside in Singapore and have a valid Singapore work pass and/or authorization.
