Safety Coordinator

Rent the Runway is seeking a Safety Coordinator to serve as a designated safety representative for their dream fulfillment center. This entry-level position involves coordinating and implementing all areas of Rent the Runway's Safety Program, as directed by the Sr. Manager of EHS. The Safety Coordinator will influence behavior and inspire commitment to safety standards, maintaining a safe work environment through training and coaching.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and inform management of compliance issues and safety risks.
• Facilitate incident investigations.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation measures.
• Ensure compliance with safety program expectations and applicable laws.
• Maintain required paperwork.
• Facilitate access to immediate aid for those needing assistance.
• Maintain accurate metrics and document safety incidents.
• Perform safety observations, audits, and training.
• Conduct facility inspections and partner with the security team.

Requirements:

• Associates’ or Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental, Ergonomics, or a related field.
• 1+ year of experience in safety and/or environmental programs.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Calm demeanor in emergency situations.
• Proficiency with Google Suite, Google Sheets, Looker, and Jira.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• First Aid/AED/CPR Certification.
