Job Description
Affirm is seeking a Director of Product Management for their Trust & Safety team. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of consumer financial services by leading the team responsible for the "top-of-funnel" experience, building flows to connect consumers with Affirm's solutions. The Director will align cross-functional teams and drive the business while mitigating fraud losses.
What this role involves:
- Leading through customer centricity to ensure seamless experiences.
- Prioritizing high-impact opportunities and optimizing conversion funnels.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring timely delivery of commitments.
- Elevating team capacity by increasing the usage of AI tools.
- Fostering greatness in PMs and XFN partners, while attracting top talent.
- Seeking out better solutions and staying current on diverse authentication methods.
- Providing visibility into key workstreams and programs.
- Interacting effectively with senior leaders, presenting insights and strategies.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of product management experience in consumer-facing software companies.
- Track record of running high-velocity growth pipelines.
- Ability to identify product opportunities through data analysis.
- Comfortable with front-end, back-end, and API technologies.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience balancing time to market and rigor.
- An obsession for getting the details right.
- Comfortable in an ambiguous, matrixed organization.
- Experience managing in a remote-first environment.
