Job Description
Lucid Motors is seeking a Paint Equipment Engineer to lead the design of new paint equipment. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure proper design and installation of paint equipment. The Paint Equipment Engineer will play a crucial role in the development of paint lines from conception to launch, implementing engineering solutions based on product design changes.
Role involves:
- Leading technical efforts for complex equipment engineering development.
- Working cross-functionally with disciplines involved in specifying and engineering Paint equipment.
- Collaborating with the project team on all stages of Paint line development.
- Implementing engineering solutions on manufacturing equipment.
- Utilizing analytic problem-solving skills.
- Preparing and optimizing Paint equipment layouts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering required.
- 5+ years in Paint Equipment/ Manufacturing Engineering.
- Experience in the automotive Paint equipment design/ sustaining is a must.
- Ability to influence outcomes and drive initiatives in complex environments.
- Strong presentation skills and communicates clearly and professionally.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Catia and Delmia.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
