Job Description

Pismo is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to contribute to the development and maintenance of their financial transaction platform in Brazil. This role involves designing and delivering scalable solutions, collaborating with the team to address business challenges, and ensuring system reliability through documentation, testing, and proactive issue resolution. The ideal candidate will provide architectural guidance and participate in on-call rotations to maintain the stability of mission-critical systems.Role involves:

Requirements:

• Proficiency in English at B2 level
• Experience with Java systems in production environments
• Expertise in streaming data solutions (Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS Kinesis)
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (SQS, SNS, EventBridge, S3, Step Functions, Lambda)
• Strong background in microservices architecture
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB)
• Experience with Big Data ecosystems (Databricks, Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, Data Lakes)
• Proficient in Python for data manipulation and automation
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation)
