Smartsheet, a company with over 20 years of experience in work management and scalable solutions, is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to join their Select Accounts team. This role focuses on increasing software sales and driving expansion across a large territory of Global 2000 Accounts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding quota with tenacity, a positive attitude, accountability, high energy, integrity, and discipline.
Role Involves: - Exceeding quarterly and annual sales software and services sales quotas.
- Proactively managing a large number of early-stage accounts.
- Developing new business sales opportunities by analyzing and targeting high-value needs.
- Executing a complex, high-value solution-based sales process.
- Articulating and demonstrating Smartsheet's unique business, solution, and functional value.
- Leading ongoing engagement with customer executives and Smartsheet leadership.
- Building a territory plan that results in sales expansion across accounts.
- Determining account strategies by partnering with Solutions Engineers and Customer Success Representatives.
- Developing unsolicited proposals that align with customer initiatives.
- Accurately forecasting sales opportunities and tracking important metrics.
- Using Smartsheet in the execution of daily sales activities.
Requirements: - Enterprise sales success with a track record of exceeding quotas.
- Experience selling enterprise software, ideally SaaS solutions.
- Proven new business selling skills.
- Experience managing a large and diverse pipeline of sales opportunities.
- Outstanding time management skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth company.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
