Senior / Staff ML Engineer

Instawork is seeking a Senior / Staff ML Engineer to join their team and contribute to building the leading AI-powered labor marketplace. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, delivering technical solutions, and impacting key company objectives through machine learning. The ideal candidate will act as a data evangelist, fostering a data-driven culture within the company.

• Build/integrate new machine learning models into production
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on ML platform strategies
• Deliver technical approach and problem analysis documents
• Build/maintain reports and dashboards
• Mentor junior team members
• Drive architectural decisions for the ML platform

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
• 8+ years (Staff) / 5+ years (Senior) of experience in quantitative analysis and ML deployment
• Strong command of statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and generative AI
• Proficient in Python and SQL, with experience in ML libraries
• Familiar with data modeling and modern data/ML infrastructure
• Strong communication and documentation skills
