Job Description
Veeam is seeking a Territory Manager to develop sales opportunities in Kenya, Nigeria, and Ghana. The Territory Manager will collaborate with partners to identify, develop, and close transactions within their assigned market territory. This role requires regular travel for face-to-face customer and partner engagements.
Role Involves:
- Territory and account planning
- Leveraging partners to identify and close sales
- Cold calls to develop sales activities
- Up-selling and cross-selling to existing customers
- Creating and closing sales opportunities
- Maintaining accurate forecasts in Sales Force
- Coordinating marketing activities
- Aligning plans with internal supporting functions
Requirements:
- Fluent in English
- Prior sales experience in Kenya, Nigeria, or Ghana
- Direct and Channel new business sales development experience
- Experience with data protection and data recovery
- Experience with virtualization and/or storage technology vendors
- Track record of selling to IT infrastructure specialists
- Proven ability to develop new sales
- Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly
- High-energy sales person
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable traveling 50-60% of the time
- Current full driving license and own vehicle
