Notion is seeking a Deal Desk representative to join their team in Tokyo, Japan. This role will be the first Deal Desk hire in the APAC region, serving as an advisor, advocate, and partner to the local sales team. The Deal Desk will report into the Head of Deal Desk.

Role Involves:

  • Approving quotes and advising the sales team on deal structures.
  • Supporting large, complex deals and providing updates on business process and policy changes.
  • Representing the Deal Desk in APAC and offering a company perspective during team and forecast calls.
  • Delivering enablement and training to familiarize the field with Notion’s Quote to Cash Process and Deal Terms.
  • Representing the APAC market to HQ, providing readouts on market trends, challenges, and needs to leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Drafting and publishing a monthly Deal Desk Newsletter to the Global Notion Sales Team.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience, with a minimum of 3-5 years in Deal Desk.
  • Fantastic communication skills to accurately summarize deals and convey approval decisions.
  • An eye for detail to catch subtle changes impacting deal terms.
  • Demonstrated ability to flourish in a distributed team, working autonomously and driving conversations.
  • Fluency in English and Japanese.

Nice to Haves:

  • Working understanding of 606.
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ.
  • Experience drafting legal terms or legal language.
  • Fluency in Korean or Mandarin.
