Staff Accountant

Later is seeking a Staff Accountant to maintain and update the company’s accounting records and files, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial systems and reports, and ensuring compliance with the company’s internal controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of US generally accepted accounting principles.

What this role involves:

• Completing monthly financial close activities.
• Preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Developing and maintaining internal control policies and procedures.
• Assisting with external audits.
• Partnering with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience in the SaaS or technology industry is highly desirable.
• Strong accounting systems experience; NetSuite experience preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
