Job Description
Viator is seeking a Senior UX Researcher to lead impactful research projects and drive product strategy. In this collaborative role, the Senior UX Researcher will use qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to answer challenging business questions. They will translate customer behavior into actionable insights to inform design and product decisions. As a senior team member, they will advocate for the user and collaborate with stakeholders to shape product roadmaps.
Responsibilities include:
- Scoping and leading UX research.
- Leveraging expertise in qualitative and quantitative research.
- Synthesising data inputs (UXR, analytics and VoC).
- Crafting and delivering actionable insight deliverables.
- Partnering cross-functionally with product, design, analytics, VoC and eng.
- Contributing to how we develop our research practice.
Requirements:
- Minimum BA/BSc degree in psychology, HCI, design, communication, statistics or other related field.
- 6+ years of professional applied research experience.
- Extensive experience with qualitative research methods.
- Experience with quantitative research methods and statistical analysis.
- Experience leveraging research tools like UserTesting, dscout, etc.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to ask, and answer, meaningful and impactful questions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- A flexible, confident and tenacious attitude with strong influencing skills.
