Community Host / Waiter

Job Description

The Student Hotel is seeking a Community Host/Waiter for their Vienna location. The Community Host will operate in all F&B areas, ensuring guests have the best possible experience. They will provide service in the restaurant and bars, engage in conversations to make stays unforgettable, and be knowledgeable about the hotel's products, cross-selling them to guests.

The Student Hotel is known for its fun, creative, and inspiring environment, offering student accommodation, long and short stay options, gyms, events, a rooftop bar, and coworking spaces.

What this role involves:

• Preparing and serving a variety of local dishes.
• Brewing coffee and mixing cocktails.
• Answering guest questions about the city.
• Maintaining cleanliness in all areas.
• Assisting guests with requests regarding facilities.

Requirements:

• At least one year of experience in F&B.
• Flexible, hands-on, motivated, and positive approach.
• Background in hospitality, preferably in a hotel environment.
• Ability to handle stressful peak periods.
• Fluency in English and German.
• European citizenship or legal permission to work in Austria.
