Job Description
Vonage is seeking a Sales Development Representative to drive growth for its API/CPaaS solutions. This role is pivotal in identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities, acting as the initial point of contact for potential clients. The Sales Development Representative will collaborate with marketing and sales teams to optimize performance and achieve monthly targets.Vonage is a global cloud communications leader, helping businesses accelerate their digital transformation through unified communications, contact center applications, and communications APIs.Responsibilities:
  • Performing inbound & outbound sales activities, contacting potential clients via phone, video calls, emails, and LinkedIn.
  • Discovering new leads through internet research and social media monitoring.
  • Qualifying customers based on knowledge of the Vonage API platform.
  • Maintaining detailed notes in the CRM system.
  • Scheduling meetings and demos for Account Managers.
  • Collaborating with marketing and sales leadership to optimize performance.
  • Developing and maintaining territory plans with Account Managers.
  • Supporting Vonage API marketing efforts.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of Sales Development / Lead generation and or sales experience in B2B environments, especially in the software industry
  • Cold calling experience
  • Salesforce, Outreach and 6sense experience a plus
  • Enterprise/Key Accounts Outbound experience a plus
  • Highly collaborative mindset and team player
  • Willingness to engage with prospects via phone and video
  • Ability to work at a fast pace
  • Goal-oriented mindset
  • Creativity in generating new ideas
  • Autonomy and ability to work without supervision
