Security Engineer

Job Description

VTEX is seeking a talented Security Engineer to join their Security & Privacy organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, evolving, and maintaining software to enhance the company's cybersecurity posture. This role involves working on high-impact engineering projects that prevent and eliminate entire classes of threats, ensuring VTEX complies with various privacy regulations.Role involves:

• Building, evolving, and maintaining security software.
• Working on engineering projects with high impact.
• Preventing and eliminating classes of threats.
• Ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of network computers and Information Security concepts.
• Experience with ElasticSearch or OpenSearch.
• Experience with endpoint system controls (EDR, XDR).
• Knowledge of cloud computing, especially AWS.
• Awareness of inventory systems and DLP Controls.
• Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Go, Shell scripting).
• Understanding application protocols and content inspection methods.
• Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• OSINT, Threat Intelligence, and Threat Hunting skills.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
