Job Description
The Financial Times is seeking a People Business Partner for a 12-month parental leave cover in London. This role involves business partnering with leadership teams in Editorial, FT Specialist, Finance & Communications, contributing to the people strategy and objectives to support the FT's business strategy. The ideal candidate will navigate a creative and independent workforce with humor and heart.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development and execution of the FT’s people strategy.
- Support diversity & inclusion plans, talent retention, succession, and engagement strategies.
- Handle escalated employee relations matters.
- Support regular union consultation meetings.
- Partner with centers of expertise to design and execute people solutions.
- Report on and analyze key People metrics.
- Build external networks to bring insights and ideas back to the FT.
