Job Description
Diligent is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join their global Data & Analytics team. This role is central to the company's data-driven decision-making process, focusing on building scalable pipelines and accessible datasets. The Senior Analytics Engineer will report to the Senior Manager of Analytics Engineering and collaborate with analysts and business leaders to translate business needs into robust data solutions.
Role involves:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure in Snowflake.
- Collaborating with data analysts and stakeholders to create clear, trusted datasets.
- Improving existing ETL workflows and data models to enhance performance and scalability.
- Embedding AI technologies into data workflows.
- Troubleshooting and resolving data issues efficiently.
- Partnering with BI teams to support deployment of dashboards and data visualizations.
- Contributing to a best-in-class enterprise data architecture.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with large-scale databases.
- 3+ years working with Snowflake and dbt (or similar ETL tools like Alteryx).
- Proficiency in Python for data transformation and scripting.
- Experience integrating or leading AI/data automation initiatives.
- Familiarity with business systems like Salesforce, NetSuite, Google Analytics, and Oracle HCM.
- Strong background in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Detail-oriented with excellent documentation habits and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
