Member of Technical Staff - Production Engineering

Pure Storage is seeking a highly motivated Member of Technical Staff - Production Engineering to join their team in Bangalore. This role is crucial in reshaping the data storage industry by addressing customer issues and developing software for analyzing and predicting the health of distributed systems.Responsibilities:

• Lead investigation and resolution of emergent engineering problems from the field.
• Create and maintain services and tools to diagnose and protect the health of systems.
• Develop next-generation analytics to anticipate new problems.
• Acquire a deep understanding of Pure's full software stack.
• Collaborate with engineers to fix problems and present complex issues to the engineering team and executives.
• Interact directly with customers to enable sales.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience with Python, Go, C++, and Linux.
• Strong background in software development, Linux, system administration, networking, and storage.
• Experience with Big Data production environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Willingness to work in an open office environment.
