Job Description
Pure Storage is seeking a Supply Chain Network Design professional to help design the company's supply chain network. This role involves using advanced software tools to model and optimize the global supply chain, supporting the development of proposals, building models, running scenarios, and identifying opportunities to enhance the supply chain structure. This is an opportunity to grow analytical and technical skills while influencing key decisions.
Responsibilities include:
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to analyze expansion opportunities
- Developing supply chain models using industry-leading tools
- Evaluating network scenarios to reduce Total Landed Costs
- Cleansing and preparing data for network modeling efforts
- Assisting in identifying supply chain risks and support development of mitigation strategies
- Maintaining the supply chain network design framework and support data governance activities
- Supporting small to medium-sized projects from planning to execution
- Creating and maintaining project documentation
- Contributing to the creation of business cases for network design recommendations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Analytics, Business, or a related field
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in supply chain analytics, modeling, or optimization
- Exposure to network design and modeling tools
- Familiarity with linear/integer optimization concepts and supply chain modeling fundamentals
- Proficient in Excel; working knowledge of SQL or Python is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with large datasets
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with ERP systems and visualization tools is a plus
- Occasional domestic and international travel may be required
