Principal Data Engineer - Data Intelligence

Culture Amp is seeking a Principal Data Engineer to join their Data Intelligence Camp. In this role, the individual will be responsible for designing and implementing the data architecture, enabling analytics, insights, and AI/ML across the platform. They will also be responsible for uplifting capabilities in data management, quality, and governance.Culture Amp is looking for someone who can collaborate across teams, drive alignment on data strategy, and empower data owners and consumers. The ideal candidate will mentor team leads and engineers, ensuring they are supported and productive.Role involves:

• Designing and implementing data architecture
• Enabling analytics, insights, and AI/ML

• Mentoring engineers

Requirements:

• Significant experience as a data engineer
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, dbt, AWS Redshift, AWS CDK, Apache Kafka, realtime analytics platforms, and stream processing tools
• Experience implementing data governance, privacy, and compliance programs
• Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity
• Clear communication skills
