Senior IT Internal Auditor

Alarm.com is seeking a Senior IT Internal Auditor to perform process, financial, compliance, and technology audits. The Senior IT Auditor will assess the design and operating effectiveness of company IT controls to support management’s SOX compliance efforts and integrated business process effectiveness reviews. This position reports to the IT Audit Manager.

The role involves:

• Assisting with the planning, execution, and reporting of technology audit projects.
• Reviewing IT, operational, and business risks to determine the scope of proposed audits.
• Executing corporate IT audit projects to assess internal control processes and operational performance.
• Identifying opportunities for control and process improvements in IT systems.
• Performing and documenting walkthrough and testing procedures for SOX compliance.
• Providing verbal and written reports to management.
• Tracking stakeholder remediation efforts.
• Collaborating with external auditors and consultants.

Requirements:

• BS in Accounting/Information Systems.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant IT audit experience.
• CISA/CISSP or other relevant certification required.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Solid understanding of COBIT framework.
• Ability to analyze problems and assess risk.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience utilizing AI and/or RPA to enhance audit procedures a plus.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel (~10%).
