Manager, Decision Science

Job Description

ZipRecruiter is seeking a Manager, Decision Science to join their Enterprise Decision Science team. This role involves leading a team while also contributing hands-on to projects, focusing on delivering insights and driving value for Enterprise customers. The Manager will guide the analytical function and collaborate cross-functionally to inform product and business decisions with data-driven insights.Role involves:

• Serving as a trusted leader and partner for Enterprise stakeholders.
• Enabling data-driven decisions through analysis, experimentation, and modeling.
• Taking ownership of projects and delivering presentations.
• Mentoring and growing decision scientists.
• Identifying new opportunities to drive Enterprise customer value.

Requirements:

• BS/BA in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience in decision science, analytics, or related field.
• 2+ years of management experience.
• Experience building actionable insights and using data to influence product strategy.
• Expertise in SQL and an analytics programming language (Python or R).
