Job Description
dbt Labs is seeking a Solutions Architect to join their West Coast team. This role is crucial for driving customer success by leading technical evaluations, delivering demos, and serving as a trusted advisor. The ideal candidate will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area to enhance collaboration with sales teams.
Role involves:
- Designing enterprise-scale data architectures using dbt Cloud.
- Partnering with Sales to demonstrate the technical value of dbt Labs solutions.
- Leading proof-of-concept engagements and technical evaluations.
- Deploying dbt Cloud in private clouds for enterprise clients.
- Managing the full customer lifecycle.
- Collaborating with Product and Engineering to influence the enterprise roadmap.
- Enabling strategic partners in their implementation of dbt.
- Engaging in the dbt Community and contributing to thought leadership.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions architecture, or consulting in data operations, analytics, or BI.
- Proven hands-on experience with SQL, ETL, and data modeling.
- Strong understanding of modern data stacks and cloud data warehousing.
- Effective communication skills for explaining technical concepts.
- Ability to gather and translate technical and business requirements.
- Excellent written and in-person communication skills.
- Adaptability in fast-paced environments.
