Job Description

TransferGo is seeking a Risk Manager to strengthen its risk culture and support its growth. The Risk Manager will play a crucial role in shaping and embedding a strong risk culture across the organization. This role involves supporting the implementation of the Enterprise Risk Framework, ensuring third-party risk management compliance, maintaining the company's risk register, and developing risk mitigation plans.

The Risk Manager will report to the Senior Risk Manager and collaborate with various departments, including IT, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Security, to champion Operational Risk & Resilience.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of the Enterprise Risk Framework.
  • Ensure third-party and critical service risk management compliance.
  • Maintain the company's risk register.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor risk mitigation plans and controls.
  • Utilize data analysis to identify and assess risks.
  • Assist in evaluating risks associated with business activities.
  • Support the development of an Operational Resilience Risk framework.
  • Aid in the identification and management of ICT risks.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of enterprise risk frameworks.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as delegated.
  • Engage and collaborate with stakeholders across various departments.
  • Support external communications and reporting to regulators.
  • Promote a culture of risk and resilience awareness.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of risk management experience in the financial sector.
  • Solid grasp of digital product offerings and associated risks.
  • Exposure to operational resilience or ICT risk management within Financial Services.
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry and relevant regulations.
  • Proven ability to develop risk management strategies.
  • Understanding of ICT risk categories and mitigation approaches.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capacity to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish ambitious goals.
