Job Description
Rocket Lab is seeking a Technician I-IV, Ops Support to be based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and ensuring the efficient operation of semiconductor and composites manufacturing equipment. The technician will support the Operations Manager and the operations organization, contributing to deliverables for internal leadership, the board of directors, and investors.Responsibilities:- Service, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment and manufacturing tools.
- Repair manufacturing and support equipment and systems.
- Collaborate with engineers and managers to resolve issues and plan for new equipment.
- Locate and order parts and materials.
- Train and support new technicians.
- Maintain facility data collection requirements and procedures.
- Identify non-conformances and participate in finding solutions.
- Deploy the Quality Management System.
- Support facility shutdowns and projects off-shift.
- Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Team.
- Technician I: 2+ years of experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining semiconductor and solar photovoltaic manufacturing equipment.
- Technician II: 5+ years of experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining semiconductor and solar photovoltaic manufacturing equipment.
- Technician III: 8+ years of experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining semiconductor and solar photovoltaic manufacturing equipment.
- Technician IV: 12+ years of experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining semiconductor and solar photovoltaic manufacturing equipment.
- Experience installing and relocating semiconductor and manufacturing equipment.
- Pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical experience.
- High school diploma.
- Experience using a respirator.
