Job Description

BDA is seeking an Account Manager to cultivate client relationships, particularly within Olympic sponsorships. The Account Manager will understand client objectives, recommend merchandise solutions, and ensure project execution. This role requires a deep understanding of the sports industry, sponsorship dynamics, and merchandising strategies. The ideal candidate will live within a commutable distance to downtown Los Angeles, California for frequent in office meetings; however, we’re open to other locations for exceptionally strong candidates.

Role involves:

  • Managing contact and opportunity database
  • Building and nurturing relationships with current clients
  • Assisting in developing proactive strategies and presentations
  • Executing Strategic Account Plans
  • Delivering results by achieving sales and profitability goals
  • Ensuring ease of process and professionalism with internal partners
  • Understanding BDA business units and processes
  • Tracking and measuring business efforts
  • Monitoring competitive products and marketing activities

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Account Management or Business Development experience
  • Experience ensuring compliance with IOC/USOPC licensing standards
  • Proven track record of increasing sales through client development
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to work with assigned budgets and forecasts
  • Energetic self-starter with a passion for growth
  • Team player with accountability and urgency
