Senior Product Manager | Hardware & Platform Administration

Job Description

ExtraHop is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join their product management team. This role is focused on shaping the company's hardware and network sensor strategy. The Senior Product Manager will own the sensor portfolio, including storage solutions and virtual appliances, and the administration interfaces for deploying, managing, and optimizing NDR environments.Role involves:

• Owning the product strategy and roadmap for packet sensors, packet stores, and record stores.
• Leading the development of platform administration capabilities.
• Driving requirements for physical hardware appliances and virtual/cloud-based sensor solutions.
• Leading SASE integration initiatives.
• Defining and improving platform management experiences.
• Enhancing administrative workflows for packet captures, datastore management, and appliance settings.
• Coordinating with OEM providers on hardware specifications, inventory management, and forecasting.
• Building relationships with customers, prospects, and internal teams.
• Translating technical platform capabilities into business value.
• Partnering with engineering and UX teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of product management experience.
• Knowledge of data center networking, hardware platforms, virtualization, or storage systems.
• Knowledge of packet capture technologies, network sensors, or similar networking hardware.
• Experience with enterprise system administration, network management interfaces, and platform configuration.
• Understanding of authentication systems, user management, and access control frameworks.
• Proven track record of successful product launches involving hardware or virtual appliances.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
