Job Description
PagerDuty is seeking a Director of Pricing and Monetization to shape the evolution of how the company packages and monetizes its product portfolio. This role is at the intersection of Product, Marketing, Finance, and Sales, translating product value into commercial outcomes through strategic packaging, tiering, and go-to-market pricing. The Director will report to the Head of Product Strategy and Growth within the Product Development organization.

Role involves:
  • Leading go-to-market pricing execution and packaging strategy across multiple product lines.
  • Collaborating with Sales Strategy, Finance, Deal Desk, and PMM to operationalize pricing for the field.
  • Designing and executing packaging migrations.
  • Partnering with Product teams on monetization strategy and feature/package alignment.
  • Developing pricing collateral, enablement, and field training materials.
  • Bringing customer, competitor, and market insights to pricing strategy decisions.
  • Tracking performance of pricing initiatives and optimizing packaging strategies.
  • Driving analysis on the effectiveness of pricing by region, product, and customer segment levels.
  • Developing lifecycle pricing management capabilities.

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS pricing, product marketing, and/or monetization roles.
  • Experience as a key contributor to pricing strategy during a company's transition toward $1B+ in ARR.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience managing pricing change in the field.
  • Ability to mentor and grow other Pricing roles.
