Job Description

SpotOn is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Labor Management Systems team. The engineer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining software solutions that optimize labor scheduling, tracking, and management for clients in the retail and hospitality industries. They will work on building and supporting high availability, real-time systems.Role involves:

• Developing robust, scalable, and user-friendly web applications.
• Developing innovative solutions using the latest technologies and tools for both front-end and back-end development.
• Collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to define product direction and deliver complex applications.
• Participating in thorough code reviews.
• Assisting in mentoring junior engineers.
• Troubleshooting and debugging issues in production environments.

Requirements:

• Strong foundational knowledge in computer science.
• Proficiency in PHP, Laravel, Javascript/Typescript, React, MySQL, Kubernetes, Elastic Beanstalk, and AWS.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in software development.
• Demonstrated ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.
