Job Description
AXS is seeking a Director of Client Services for its Music Clubs division. This role is based in Los Angeles, California. The Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of the department, supervise senior Client Services staff, and enforce company policies. They will also ensure compliance with configuration and financial best practices, implement new clients, and lead hiring and training processes. This position reports to the General Manager, Clubs, and participates in planning and executing department initiatives.

What this role involves:
  • Resolving escalated product and service-related issues.
  • Fostering positive client relationships.
  • Overseeing the Client Services portion of the implementation process for new AXS clients.
  • Taking a leadership role in division initiatives and special projects.
  • Recruiting, selecting, and conducting orientation for Client Services staff.
  • Training, coaching, and disciplining employees.
  • Ensuring best practices and financial standards are communicated to clients.
  • Implementing and enforcing productivity, quality, and customer service standards.

Requirements:
  • 6-8 years of experience in a ticketing company, promoter, venue, or agency.
  • Experience in leading a high-functioning customer service team.
  • Advanced live event programming experience across multiple venue/event types.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and personnel management skills.
  • Commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
  • Mastery of problem-solving and decision-making skills in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to balance day-to-day operational needs with long-term planning.
