Job Description
Adyen is seeking a KYC Specialist to join their KYC team in San Francisco. Adyen is the payments platform of choice for many of the world’s leading companies, providing a modern end-to-end infrastructure connecting directly to Visa, Mastercard, and consumers' globally preferred payment methods. The ideal candidate will be driven, enthusiastic, and self-reliant, with a focus on scalability and automation to improve product and KYC processes.
The KYC Specialist will collaborate with product, commercial, and compliance teams, working with some of the biggest companies in the world to ensure compliance and scalability in line with platform growth.
What this role involves:
- Collaborating with product teams on platform improvements.
- Starting and managing projects with a focus on compliance, tech, or commercial aspects.
- Performing KYC checks on (sub-)merchants, collecting and verifying relevant documentation.
- Managing daily KYC operations.
- Iterating on the KYC process flow.
- Building insight-rich dashboards.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of working experience in KYC, project management, and direct interaction with B2B customers.
- Operationally oriented with a critical and analytical mindset.
- Motivated and driven to lead process improvements.
- Affinity to engage in side projects with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to quickly learn new information, take initiative, and demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented spirit.
