Job Description
Recharge is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead its Subscriptions team. This team is responsible for core services such as Order Generation & Syncing, Discounts, Shipping, and Taxes. The Engineering Manager will drive the team in planning and developing features, fostering a collaborative culture, and improving engineering processes.
Role involves:
- Managing and scaling an engineering team.
- Improving team productivity and agile processes.
- Mentoring and coaching engineers.
- Collaborating with Product to set roadmap and priorities.
- Championing good development habits and engineering standards.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of relevant development experience.
- 4+ years of experience managing agile development teams.
- 3+ years of programming experience in at least one OO language (Python preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in cloud-native environments (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Prior e-commerce experience preferred.
