Account Manager, Payer Partnerships

Job Description

SonderMind is seeking an Account Manager to join its Enterprise Solutions team. This role focuses on building and scaling strategic partnerships, particularly with health plans and payers. The Account Manager will nurture and expand relationships with influential organizations in mental health, managing key accounts from implementation to reporting. They will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure mutual success.

• Manage a portfolio of strategic accounts, with an emphasis on health plans and payers
• Cultivate and grow relationships with key stakeholders across partner organizations
• Identify opportunities to expand engagement, improve outcomes, and deliver greater value to partners
• Lead partner onboarding and implementation processes
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, clinical, marketing, and operations teams
• Develop and maintain account plans that align partner goals with SonderMind’s strategic objectives
• Monitor performance and create actionable reporting to track success metrics
• Advocate for partner needs internally and contribute insights to inform product development
• Navigate complex partnership dynamics with professionalism and a problem-solving mindset

Requirements:

• Proven experience building and expanding relationships with health plans, payers, or other healthcare stakeholders
• Strong relationship builder with the ability to communicate effectively with senior decision-makers and cross-functional teams
• Self-starter excited about working at a fast-paced startup
• Intellectually curious and resourceful
• Comfortable with ambiguity and solving complex problems
• Customer-obsessed and attuned to the needs of partners
• Results-driven, with the ability to meet goals while maintaining strong partner satisfaction
• Adept at managing competing priorities and collaborating across internal teams
