Vice President, Portfolio Management & Trading

Job Description

Global Atlantic Financial Group is seeking a Vice President, Portfolio Management & Trading to help oversee the general account portfolio. The Vice President will work closely with Investment Office Management, KKR Portfolio Managers, and key constituents across Global Atlantic, participating in the management of the company’s $190 billion general account.Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring portfolio evolution and proposing actions to improve positioning.
• Overseeing day-to-day execution, including new purchases and strategic rebalancing.
• Identifying relative value opportunities and developing implementation strategies.
• Tracking exposures against regulatory and trust investment limits.
• Liaising with the hedging team to execute and track performance of derivative overlays.
• Staying abreast of industry trends, regulatory matters, and market events.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in cross-sector fixed income strategy or portfolio management.
• Familiarity with portfolio construction techniques and risk management.
• Energetic, inquisitive, and high initiative.
• Strong leadership and team orientation.
