Job Description
Altium is seeking a DevOps Engineer to contribute to its cloud platform, Altium 365, which is transforming electronics design. The engineer will play a crucial role in building and optimizing the CI/CD process, streamlining automation efforts, and ensuring a resilient and scalable service infrastructure. Altium is a growing company that offers the opportunity to conceive and build new product features for electronics engineers.Role involves:
  • Planning and documenting work and projects.
  • Building and continuously optimizing CI/CD process.
  • Streamlining automation effort for server provisioning and applications deployment.
  • Building a resilient and scalable service infrastructure.
  • Deploying, monitoring, and scaling application services.
  • Mentoring team members and driving knowledge sharing.
  • Participating in project management and strategic planning.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in DevOps / SRE environment.
  • 6+ years of experience working with Linux, Windows systems.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of cloud infrastructure components such as AWS (EC2,EKS, RDS, Opensearch, S3, Storage, Route53 and network appliances.
  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure as a Code approach (Terraform preferred).
  • Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Good understanding of microservice architecture.
  • Good experience in Monitoring k8s clusters, APM, services and infrastructure located in AWS (NewRelic).
  • Ability to create automation tools in Go, Python, Bash, Powershell.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Delivery tools used with microservices.
  • Hands-on experience architecting and securing cloud networking such as VPC peering, Transit Gateways, subnet, and security groups (nice to have).
  • Working knowledge of Jenkins, GitLab or alternative Continuous Integration systems.
  • Understanding of Active Directory, DNS and Domain (nice to have).
  • Coding Experience.
