Junior QA Engineer - BitBar

Job Description

SmartBear is seeking a Junior QA Engineer to join their team in Wrocław, Poland. In this role, the individual will participate in building the next generation of automated testing framework for the company's product, BitBar. They will play a key role in inventing methods for ensuring and measuring the quality of the application.Role involves:

• Performing manual testing (regression, exploratory, and non-functional) and logging results.
• Automating existing test cases to decrease validation time.
• Innovating in monitoring and measuring system quality.
• Collaborating with developers, product owners, UX designers, and customers to provide feedback and find new solutions.
• Participating in feature and code reviews.
• Cooperating with geographically distributed team members.

Requirements:

• Around 1 year of experience in a related field.
• Experience with tools and frameworks like GitHub and Selenium.
• Keen interest in understanding software and product functionality.
• Knowledge of Python and/or other scripting languages.
• Some familiarity with REST API and Jenkins.
• Some familiarity with mobile devices and virtual machines.
• English proficiency at least at the B2 level.
