Job Description
Bottomline is seeking an Information Engineer to contribute to their team. The candidate will work either remotely or in a Hybrid work environment out of the Theale, England UK office. He will collaborate with business and technical users to define, develop, and test reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions, leveraging PowerBI and Snowflake to transform data into actionable insights.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using PowerBI.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data models in Snowflake support analytical needs.
  • Conduct testing and validation of reports and dashboards to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on the use of dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of reports and dashboards.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data visualization and analytics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in information engineering, data analysis, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerBI, SQL, and experience with Snowflake or similar data warehousing solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
