Job Description
LetsGetChecked is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support their Pharmacy Operations team in Sharonville, Ohio. This role involves strategically managing product orders, conducting accurate cycle counts, and collating supply chain data. The Pharmacy Technician will assist pharmacists, ensure inventory accuracy, maintain patient confidentiality, and provide exceptional patient care.
Role involves:
- Picking and filling medications according to pharmacy practice guidelines.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and patient charts while ensuring patient confidentiality.
- Partnering with pharmacists to address medication-related inquiries and assist patients effectively.
- Packing medications following company procedures and medication safety requirements.
- Requesting refill authorization from physician offices and coordinate medication delivery as needed.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize pharmacy operations and enhance patient experience.
- Managing all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to promptly, safely and accurately fill prescriptions.
- Adhering to pharmacy laws and regulations governing pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by the manager upon employment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Continuously enhancing knowledge and skills in pharmacy technology and stay updated with industry trends.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician (preferred).
- 1+ year of retail pharmacy experience preferred, preferably in a high-volume setting.
- Active, clear, and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license within your state of residence.
- Competence in pharmacy law pertaining to technicians and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care and maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Proficiency in technology and willingness to learn new systems and tools.
- Ability to stand for long periods, work at a computer screen for extended durations, and lift packages weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and assist patients professionally.
