Job Description
NMI is seeking an Associate Software Engineering Manager to lead and mentor Software Engineering teams. This role involves fostering a nurturing environment, encouraging growth, and ensuring equity within the teams. The manager will also collaborate with other leaders to streamline operations and achieve organizational goals. NMI empowers businesses to securely accept payments and optimize transaction processes.
Role involves:
- Supporting the unique needs of the teams.
- Mentoring Software Engineers.
- Championing an environment of inclusion and equity.
- Participating in recruitment and retention.
- Facilitating teams in producing high-quality software.
- Collaborating with other leaders to streamline operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience delivering software in an agile environment.
- Experience with PCI DSS, HIPAA, SOX, GDPR, CCPA, and similar regulations.
- Experience working with remote and globally distributed teams.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
