Job Description
The Orchard is seeking a Country Head for its Indonesia operations. This role involves leading the local team, overseeing strategy, market development, and client acquisition. The Country Head will drive communication, set goals, develop staff, and promote the company's value proposition. They will also maintain high-level industry relationships to elevate revenue and profile, acting as the primary conduit for new business opportunities.
- Manage relationships with distributed music clients.
- Attract, sign, and retain new talent.
- Oversee high-level retail relationships.
- Liaise between local SME departments and Orchard HQ.
- Drive product adoption of The Orchard’s tools and services.
- Act as a local industry representative.
- Assist with content acquisition and business development.
- Liaise with internal departments to meet client and retail partner needs.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in the local and international music industry.
- Experience managing catalogues and relationships within a label or distribution company.
- Expertise using content management systems and digital metadata.
- Excellent knowledge of the digital space, including music retail, analytics, and social media.
- Advanced organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Passion for music and willingness to attend industry events.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends and travel internationally.
