Associate / Senior Associate - Institutional Services

Interactive Brokers is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate to join its APAC Institutional Services group in Tokyo. The successful candidate will provide unparalleled service to IBKR’s institutional and enterprise clients, including banks, hedge funds, financial advisors, and introducing brokers. This role focuses on building deep, long-term relationships and ensuring a seamless client experience as the company expands its global product and service offerings.Responsibilities include:

• Resolving technical, account, and trade-related inquiries via telephone, ticket, and live chat.
• Escalating issues to relevant stakeholders across various departments and regions.
• Assisting clients in understanding the entire trading lifecycle, including funding, position transfers, corporate actions, margin calculation, and statement reconciliation.
• Handling ad hoc assignments and projects such as client outreach, platform training, and market research.

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree.
• At least 1-2 years of prior experience at a large financial institution (new graduates with a strong grasp of core competencies will be considered).
• Strong familiarity in one or more asset classes – Stocks, ETFs, Options, FX, Funds, Futures, Fixed Income.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English & Japanese.
• Fluency in productivity applications (e.g., Excel, JIRA/Confluence) is a plus.
