Job Description
Cleo is seeking a Senior Art Director to be the visual heartbeat of their brand. The Senior Art Director will collaborate with the Executive Creative Director to lead the conception and execution of compelling visual campaigns that resonate with Cleo's audience. They will ensure Cleo’s aesthetic is both consistent and captivating across all touchpoints.

Role involves:
  • Leading Visual Campaigns: Conceptualize and execute integrated campaigns that span digital, print, and experiential mediums.
  • Developing the Brand: Leading on the continuous development and evolution of the Cleo brand as well our visual identity.
  • Collaborating Cross-Functionally: Work alongside copywriters, motion designers, product designers, and marketers to ensure cohesive storytelling.
  • Mentoring and Inspiring: Guide junior designers, fostering an environment of growth and creativity.
  • Maintaining Brand Consistency: Ensure all visual outputs align with Cleo’s brand guidelines and voice.
  • Innovating: Stay ahead of design trends, bringing fresh ideas that keep Cleo at the forefront of fintech design.

Requirements:
  • 9+ years in art direction, preferably within fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a range of campaigns and design systems.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and mentor design teams & other creatives.
  • The ability to work cross-functionally with teams across accounts, copy, product design, strategy & production.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • An incredibly sharp attention to detail and quality control.
  • High-level typography, layout, and composition skills.
  • Concept development & storytelling.
  • Campaign ideation across digital, print, and experiential.
  • Art direction for photo and video shoots.
  • Presenting and pitching ideas to senior stakeholders and internal teams.
