Job Description
Notion is seeking a Chief of Staff, Marketing to act as a trusted advisor to the Chief Marketing Officer and support strategic, operational, and cultural initiatives. This role is crucial for aligning the go-to-market strategy, optimizing marketing investments, and ensuring high-quality work that advances the brand and business goals.Notion is an in person company, and currently requires its employees to come to the office for two Anchor Days (Mondays & Thursdays) and requests that employees spend the majority of their week in the office (including a third day).
Responsibilities: - Lead strategic, cross-functional projects.
- Own and drive marketing department operations.
- Increase marketing efficiency and impact globally.
- Identify and address gaps in operations and structure.
- Evolve team structures and workflows.
- Drive organizational alignment.
- Contribute to marketing strategies and messaging.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CMO.
Requirements: - 12+ years of experience in a senior leadership role.
- Experience leading strategic, cross-functional projects.
- Ability to build partnerships across Notion.
- Experience developing marketing strategies.
- Experience working with and advising C-level executives.
- Ability to build robust and scalable processes.
- Comfortable toggling between strategic thinking and operational detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
