Job Description
PhonePe Group is seeking a Business Analyst with 4 to 7 years of experience to join their team in Bengaluru. PhonePe is India’s leading digital payments company. The ideal candidate will be a first-principle problem solver with a passion for data and uncovering insights. This role involves being an integral part of the pod strategy, defining critical metrics, and monitoring performance trends. The Business Analyst will collaborate with business and product functions to translate business problems into analytical problem statements and own the entire insight generation phase.
Responsibilities:
- Define critical metrics and monitor performance trends.
- Collaborate with business and product functions to understand business problems.
- Own the entire insight generation phase and provide unbiased answers.
- Contribute individual thoughts on how to improve critical metrics.
- Act as the analytics and visualization SME for the team.
- Mentor other analysts and participate in the hiring process.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of analytics experience in relevant roles.
- Strong problem-solving & analytical skills.
- Ability to write complex SQL queries.
- Intuition for data and ability to handle big data sources.
- Strong working knowledge in Excel and visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, QlikView).
- Understanding of data-analysis languages such as R, Python and in core statistical concepts.
- Ability to clearly explain thoughts and ideas verbally or in written form.
