Job Description
GitLab, an open core software company, is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to support its global Sales team. This remote role, based in North America, involves partnering with Sales Leadership and Revenue Operations to drive strategic planning and resource allocation. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in a Finance role, ideally within a SaaS environment.
What This Role Involves:
- Business Partnership: Influence cross-functional teams and manage relationships with partners.
- Financial Modeling: Build and improve financial models for planning and forecasting.
- Planning and Financial Analysis: Drive financial processes with minimal guidance.
- Data Analysis: Translate analysis into data-driven insights.
- Project Management: Run projects to improve data-driven insights.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with CFO and functional EVPs.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in a Finance role, ideally with enterprise SaaS software model.
- Experience owning a business function as a finance business partner, ideally within Sales.
- BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or relevant degree.
- Expertise in Google Sheets.
- SQL experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience with financial and visualization software (NetSuite, Tableau and Adaptive Planning a plus).
