Job Description
Gastrointestinal Medical Associates (GMA), supported by GI Alliance, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join their team. This role offers the advantages of advanced independent practice within a patient-focused, excellence-driven gastroenterology network. The Advanced Practice Provider will work under the direct supervision of a physician in both hospital and clinic settings.Role involves:- Providing scheduled patient services.
- Completing patient histories and physicals.
- Determining tentative diagnoses and ordering appropriate laboratory tests.
- Counseling patients and families on health and disease.
- Participating in continuing education and training.
- Working a flexible schedule.
- State Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Gastrointestinal experience preferred.
