Senior Mobile Product Designer

Job Description

The Weather Company is seeking a Senior Mobile Product Designer to help shape intuitive and visually compelling mobile experiences. The Senior Mobile Product Designer will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders, using design thinking to solve complex user challenges across enterprise applications. He/She will translate insights into elegant solutions, owning the end-to-end design process from wireframes to interactive prototypes.

The Senior Mobile Product Designer role involves:

• Partnering with product management and business development to understand industry and user needs.
• Applying design thinking techniques to tackle complex user needs and problems.
• Creating intuitive and delightful experiences that simplify complex problems.
• Building wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Defining user personas, user journeys, and information architecture.
• Iterating on designs based on feedback, data analysis, and user testing results.
• Maintaining design consistency and contributing to design system development.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience driving user experience and visual design of native mobile applications.
• Experience building and expanding design systems or pattern asset libraries.
• Deep understanding of native app and responsive design patterns.
• Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions and strategic thinking.
• Proficiency in design software and tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma.
• Strong conceptual thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality design work.
